After a year (2010) full of injuries Vincent Hoek ran the 5K at the ‘Bosdijk’ run in Vinkeveen. Co-sponsored by Rabobank Rijn en Veenstromen Vincent finished second after winner Rachid Mohammadi.
Vincent: “I’m very pleased with this result, because I only have had two months of training. I started the race slowly on purpose to make sure I ran a faster second half”. The winner of the 5K race was Rachid Mohammadi, silver medalist at the Dutch Master Championships (3K indoors).
Vincent: “The pace of Rachid was much too fast for me, hopefully I’ll reach that level at the end of this season, only if I don’t get injured again of course…”
